A clear agreement for using Step Rabbit.

Who may use Step Rabbit

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and comply with applicable law when you use Step Rabbit. The app is not intended for children under 13. If you use Step Rabbit on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

Personal wellness—not medical care

Step Rabbit is a personal wellness and activity companion. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a substitute for professional care. Sleep, movement, heart, medication, recovery, and other wellness information is for personal tracking and general wellness only. Do not delay seeking professional advice or emergency help because of anything shown in the app.

You are responsible for deciding whether any activity, goal, reminder, medication check-in, or suggestion is appropriate for you. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional about medical questions, medication, symptoms, or health decisions.

Apple Health, device features, and permissions

Apple Health, notifications, location-based weather, widgets, and Apple Watch features are optional and may depend on your device, settings, connectivity, and permissions. You control access through iOS. Step Rabbit is not affiliated with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for Step Rabbit or its content.

License to use the app

Subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable usage rules, Step Rabbit grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app for your own lawful, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, rent, lease, sell, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where law expressly permits it.

Optional accounts, Groups, and challenges

Some features, including Groups, leaderboards, friend invites, and accountability challenges, may require an account and your explicit sharing choices. Keep your account information accurate and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity through your account until you notify us of unauthorized use.

Do not use these features to harass, threaten, impersonate, mislead, exploit, collect others’ information, submit false reports, circumvent access controls, or otherwise interfere with another person’s use of Step Rabbit. We may remove content, restrict access, suspend an account, or end a Group feature when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.

Your content and feedback

You retain rights in information you choose to enter or share. You grant Step Rabbit the limited permission needed to host, process, display, and transmit that information solely to operate the feature you choose—for example, displaying an opted-in group total to the members of that Group. If you send feedback or suggestions, you permit us to use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you without permission.

Purchases

Step Rabbit may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions. The price, billing terms, and any renewal terms are presented through Apple before you buy. Payments, cancellations, refunds, and purchase management are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms and policies. We do not guarantee that a particular optional feature will always remain available.

Ownership

Step Rabbit and its software, design, artwork, text, trademarks, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Availability, updates, and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for maintenance, security, safety, legal compliance, or improvement. Features may change between versions, and compatibility is not guaranteed for every device, operating system, or network. We may update these Terms as the app changes; the effective date above will be revised when we do. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

Disclaimer and limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Step Rabbit is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or suitable for every purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Step Rabbit and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or use arising from these Terms or your use of the app or website.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations. In those places, these provisions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Step Rabbit at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to optional services if you materially violate these Terms, create risk for us or others, or where we are required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute-related provisions, will survive.
